We welcome your donations. We look forward to using your gifts and donations to assist families in our area that are struggling. We are not affiliated with a church, we are not politically motivated and most importantly, 100% of you donations go to helping families in need. Our families are professionally vetted by Sam Betty of Ocala Caregivers, as well as Amy Thomas of ORS Homecare. Both are founding board members. Amy holds a Master’s Degree in Social Working. Everyday she is working with families and often finds families she wants to help, especially when she can’t get them the help they need through more conventional routes.
Ocala Outreach Foundation, Inc., will also help families that the other board members recommend. Most know that Rondo and his crew, at Mojo Grill & Catering, seem to always have a family or two that they are actively helping through-out the year. The board members will discuss new families and decide together on how we can help. How can we say 100% of our donations go to the families? We will post individual projects for the families and those monies go directly to that respected family. We will also have a separate continuing project for the foundation’s needs that people can contribute to help keep us going as needed. Our costs will also be publicly available on our website. Although most of our costs are already taken care of by our board members, they may be times where we will be open for donations if the need arises to help the foundation’s core.
